Referring Physicians

The 24/7 Transfer Center for Inpatient Services can help coordinate transfer of an inpatient to the Indiana University Medical Center at any time. The Transfer Center will help you locate the appropriate attending physician and make arrangements for the patient's transfer, including obtaining authorizations, preparing financial paper work, and supplying a copy of the discharge summary when patients are released from the Medical Center.
