There are three parts to our mission in the Department of Urology at Indiana University School of Medicine:

The Department of Urology currently has 13 full-time physicians with specialization in the areas of adult and pediatric reconstructive surgery, urologic malignancies, male and female incontinence, male sexual dysfunction, urinary stone disease, endourology, laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, and pediatric urology. Founded in 1910, the Department of Urology at Indiana University School of Medicine is one of the oldest urology departments in the country. It is based in Indianapolis, Indiana on the campus of Indiana University and Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Adult urologic care is delivered at Indiana University Hospital, Wishard Hospital, Methodist Hospital, and the Roudebush VA Hospital. Pediatric Urologic care is provided at the Riley Hospital for Children.
In 1996, Indiana University Hospital, Riley Hospital for Children, and Methodist Hospital merged to become Clarian Health Partners, now the largest provider of health care in the state of Indiana.
