Chandru Sundaram, M.D.Dr. Sundaram completed his urology residency at the University of Minnesota and his fellowship in endourology at the Harvard Medical School affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Before joining the faculty at Indiana University, he was director of the fellowship in minimally invasive urology at Washington University in St. Louis.

He performed the first urologic robotic surgery in Indiana (2002) apart from other innovative procedures like single port surgery. The minimally invasive surgery program is active with several studies to develop new techniques in robotic and laparoscopic urologic surgery. He directs the nationally recognized fellowship in endourology and laparoscopy. He has over 85 peer reviewed publications in several journals and is actively involved in several regional, national and international urologic organizations, courses and meetings. He is a Section Editor in the Journal of Endourology and an Editor of the first on-line peer reviewed videojournal in urology called Videourology.

Dr. Sundaram's area of expertise includes daVinci robot assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy for prostate cancer and minimally invasive kidney and adrenal surgery.
